    Almost great

The size is great to fit my training gear. I have two Rift gis and love that material. What makes it hard to love this bag is two things: 1) the drawstring started immediately unraveling and is slow to tie as it's very slippery. A zipper or roll top would be much easier and faster to close. 2) one additional zipper pocket to hold keys, wallet and a mouth guard case would make it much more usable. The tiny open side pockets can't fit a mouth guard and risks my keys falling out.

Thank you for being a loyal Origin customer and for sharing this detailed feedback on the Raptor Sling Sack! We're glad you love the size and Rift gi material, but we're sorry to hear the drawstring hasn't met expectations. Our support team will be reaching out to you directly regarding the unraveling drawstring so we can make this right for you. We appreciate your input on the closure and pocket design as well!

    Great bag

Perfect bag for JJ or just as a gym bag. The only feedback I would have is the side pockets are narrow and deep making it too narrow for things like waterbottles and difficult to get your hand in. The sling strap is a little long as well which makes it sit more like a messenger bag rather than a sling bag.

Hey Rob! Thanks for the 4-star review on the Raptor BJJ Sling Sack. Really glad to hear it's working well for both JJ and gym use—that versatility is exactly what we designed it for.

Your feedback about the side pockets being too narrow for water bottles and tough to access is spot on. That's not the kind of functionality we want you dealing with when you're grabbing gear quickly. Same with the sling strap running long and changing how the bag sits.

We'll get your notes about both the pocket sizing and strap length directly to our design team. This kind of real-world feedback from someone actually using it for BJJ is invaluable for dialing in the details.

Thanks for the honest feedback and for supporting USA-made gear!

    Son's birthday gift

My son picked this out for his gift. He does Jiu-Jitsu and has gone through several choices for a bag. He loves this one. It fits what he needs to put in it and has the sling for carrying. The best gift yet.
